Hello people! My name is Muhammad Reeda and I
work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Brunei Darussalam. In my spare time, I like to
muck around with my dinosaur PC (its a 486-66!!!) and one of the things I do when I'm on
my PC is surf the net! Which brings me to one of my greatest peeves about surfing the
Net... Ultra Slow Loading Web Pages!!!
OK OK I know my PC is ancient and all that, but
so are millions of other PC's out there. These machines just can't handle your fancy
schmancy sound, graphix and animation, so please... please... if you can... try and cut
down on some of the "ritz and glitz" (this is my Hypertext Lecturer's favorite
term, heheh)
Recently, however, I bought myself a
butt-kicking DELL XPS D266 with 64mb SDRAM, 6.4gb hard
disk, 17in monitor, Matrox Millenium II AGP Display with 8mb WRAM and Altec-Lansing
speakers with sub-woofer. Now I know what true POWER feels like!
